Bold with Renew Active® by UnitedHealthcare®

We are excited to share that Bold Premium is now available at no cost to members with Renew Active because we all believe that staying physically active will help you remain strong, balanced and independent.

Bold is an online fitness platform that creates a custom fitness program for you based on your individual needs. No matter what your fitness level, there are classes for you. And, the best part is, you can take a class at any time, so it fits into your schedule.

If you are not an eligible member with Renew Active, you can still sign up for Bold at no cost.

How to sign up for Bold through Renew Active

It is important to verify that you are eligible for the Renew Active program, available exclusively from UnitedHealthcare Medicare Plans. To verify if you are eligible follow these steps:

If you’re new to Bold and don’t yet have a Bold account

Step 1: Obtain your Renew Active Confirmation Code

Call the customer service phone number on the back of your health plan Member ID card:

  • Ask them “Am I eligible for Renew Active under my health plan?”
  • If they say yes, ask “Can you please provide me with my Renew Active Confirmation Code?”

You can also sign in to your plan website, go to Health Resources > Dashboard > and locate your Renew Active Confirmation Code (see example below).

Step 2: Visit agebold.com/renewactive and click ‘Sign up’

Step 3: Provide the email address you want to use for your Bold account

Step 4: Complete all onboarding questions to personalize your Bold experience

Step 5: At the end of your onboarding questionnaire, you will enter your Renew Active Confirmation Code you obtained in Step 1

  • Select ‘Yes’ for ‘Do I have Renew Active?’
  • Enter your confirmation code
  • Confirm you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • Click ‘Continue’

Your registration is complete! Now you can take your first Bold class.

If you’re a current Bold member

Step 1: Obtain your Renew Active Confirmation Code

Call the customer service phone number on the back of your health plan Member ID card:

  • Ask them “Am I eligible for Renew Active under my health plan?”
  • If they say yes, ask “Can you please provide me with my Renew Active Confirmation Code?”

You can also sign in to your plan website, go to Health Resources > Dashboard > and locate your Renew Active Confirmation Code (see example below).

Step 2: Sign into Bold and go to ‘Settings’

Step 4: Enter in the following information, including your Renew Active Confirmation Code you obtained in Step 1

  • Select “I have Renew Active”
  • Enter your confirmation code
  • Confirm you accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • Click ‘Upgrade’

Your upgrade is now complete! You may now access Bold Premium at no cost through Renew Active.
